We believe that the concept of discernment should accompany every step in our students' journey through Catholic of Pointe Coupée. This means that decisions are made first through the lens of following what God asks of us through His Church in the moral and spiritual life. Next, understanding that all of our skills and talents are meant to be honed and used for God's glory help us to properly orient our life's direction. Third, the regular practice of prayer opens us to allowing for God's Spirit to act within us and teaches us to wait and listen for Him. Fourth, paying attention to our own preferences and desires give us the opportunity to see how God may be using the movements of our mind and heart to align with His own desires for us and invite us to conform more closely to Him.
Our counseling office and resources can help with this discernment and the door is always open for you!
